Possibly the most remembered model of that time is the elegant Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz 1956 that symbolized the boisterous optimism of the United States, since they left victorious of the Second World War and ran towards a new era of the consumerism and the international influence.
Other specimens, such as the 1955 Coronado DeSoto Fireflite, brought horsepower and shine to the cars of the masses. Meanwhile, some like the 1958 Edsel Ranger, represented a more comfortable and disengaged style of life during those years.
But the classic cars of the 1950´s were not only produced and circulated in the United States. There were large models emerging in Europe such as the 1952-1955 Bentley R-Type, the 1953 1100TV Fiat from Italy and the Saab 1958 from Sweden.
There could not be lacking classics like the 1951 Chevrolet Sedan: one of the cars of those years with a beautiful design and an excellent engine. His companion of 1957 became famous by its appearance in films of the time.

The Buick Roadmaster, created in 1956, with precious lines, and very modern for its time, was another one that made history. At the moment it is one of the classic cars more desired by the collectors.
Another of the old models, the 1955 Oldsmobile. It was one of the most beautiful American luxury cars, always decorated with two colors and very characteristic of the time.

Many of these models still circulate in Cuba beautifully preserved.

Classic cars with punch and style

Although classic cars are considered gems of the past, they are actually much more. It knows a selection of these machines, that identified a generation and until today they are pieces of vanguard by the daring and popular of its design.
 # 1 MINI COOPER 970 S: Introduced in 1959, its original name was Morris Mini Minor. It was the first car of series with front traction and transversal motor of maximum power. All this in just 3 meters long and just over one meter wide and high.
Small and economical, the Mini razed the sales, almost to the rhythm that did The Beatles. Even renowned couture couturiers like Paul Smith and Mary Quant declared their love for him. In fact, the skirt known as mini is derived from this self.

# 2 ROLLS-ROYCE 10HP TWO-SEATER: This magnificent machine is the model of this oldest brand in the world. As if that were not enough, in December 2007 it became the most expensive Rolls-Royce on the planet when it was successfully auctioned for 3 million 521,500 pounds sterling (almost 5 million euros). It was the 4th. Model produced by Rolls-Royce and is the living proof of the quality of this brand, possibly the most luxurious and exclusive in the history of motorsports.

# 3 MERCEDES-BENZ 540K: This was one of the most beautiful cars of its decade, manufactured between 1936 and 1939, in the period between wars. Its convertible version caused total disarray between the German and European high bourgeoisie of the moment.
The super engine of this beauty moved a body of more than 2

thousand kilos, at a top speed of 170 km / h, although that, with a consumption between 28 and 30 liters per 100 kilometers. Great, is not it?
# 4 FORD T: This super car, also known as Tin Lizzie, was one of the first models produced at low cost by the company. Since its launch on the market at the beginning of the last century, Ford began the production of its machines in a chain, popularizing the purchase of automobiles.

# 5 NISSAN FIGARO: A car markedly vintage style. It was manufactured in 1985 when Nissan's incoming president, Yukata Kume, gave the green light to the designers to create cars that would cause a sensation at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show. The success was total and that in the beginning was sold only in Japan.
The slogan of the car was "Vuelta al Futuro" and was available in four colors. The designer of this jewel, the Japanese Shoji Takahashi, won a design award with this model.
What do you think? Attractive and powerful, they are the cars with more wave and style of history.
